A RESOLUTION EXPRESSING THE PROFOUND APPRECIATION OF THE LEAGUE OF VICE GOVERNORS OF THE PHILIPPINES (LVGP) TO THE PROVINCE OF ILOCOS SUR AND ITS PROVINCIAL GOVERNMENT LED BY ITS HONORABLE GOV. DEOGRACIAS VICTOR B. SAVELLANO FOR ITS WHOLEHEARTED SUPPORT OF THE LVGP 19TH NATIONAL ASSEMBLY HELD MARCH 1-3, 2002 AT BALUARTE, VIGAN CITY, ILOCOS SUR

Whereas, when the League of Vice Governors decided as a body in its previous National Assembly to hold the 19th National Assembly in Vigan City, the challenge was at once accepted by Ilocos Sur Vice Governor Jeremias C. Singson as an honor for his province;

Whereas, from that time, Vice Governor Singson went ahead with the preparations for the assembly;

Whereas, the host Province of Ilocos Sur and its provincial government led by its Hon. Gov. Deogracias Victor B. Savellano, at the same time demonstrated and provided the needed encouragement and support for the Vice Governors League;

Whereas, as a result, the 19th National Assembly held March 1-3, 2002, at Baluarte, Vigan City, Ilocos Sur, became the most well-attended assembly which and resounding success;

“Now Therefore, the General Assembly and the National Executive Board of the League of Vice Governors of the Philippines jointly assembled

“Resolved, as they hereby resolve, to express the profound appreciation and gratitude of the League of Vice Governors of the Philippines to the Province of Ilocos Sur and its provincial government led by its Hon. Governor Deogracias Victor B. Savellano for the wholehearted support it gave the LVGP 19th National Assembly.

“Resolved Further, that a copy of this resolution be furnished the Province of Ilocos Sur through the Honorable Governor.”
